Living with pain is one of the biggest mistakes we are generally committing daily. Pain & subsequent reduced mobility can increase para-spinal stiffness and alter the balance between the two components of the underlying Autonomic Nervous System (ANS).
There is continuously increased firing of the Sympathetic Nervous System (SNS) and relatively less firing of the opposing Para-Sympathetic Nervous System (PNS).
This increased activity of SNS is responsible for the increased stiffness of Para-spinal muscles and subsequent all malfunctions related to increased SNS tone in the body. It is better to maintain SNS tone by cutting down this increased SNS tone. We can maintain that fine equilibrium in our body and live a pain-free life by simply maintaining a fine balance between the two components of ANS.
