Progression of any lifestyle disease is dependent on a fine balance between the two divisions of Autonomic Nervous System (ANS). Any type of stress in our body (Physical, Psychological or any environmental factor) can disturb this fine balance and make us vulnerable to any of the lifestyle disease.
Mostly excessive firing of sympathetic Nervous System (SNS) either because of stress or age related, (responsible for "Fight and Flight response") is an inciting trigger for any lifestyle disease. This excessive firing of SNS because of any cause like Physical. Psychological or Emotional Stress.
Early identification and correction of Autonomic imbalance is very important for a healthy and disease-free life. Cervical Myofascial Pain is one of the most common triggers responsible for excessive firing of SNS. Problem is, most of the time we remain unaware about the existence of myofascial pain in our body, and it is mostly because of wrong postural habits or work induced.
To correct this early and efficiently, regular postural assessment and an early correction of wrong postural habits are very important. We don't need to carry the burden of lifestyle disease, because most of them are controllable with good postural habits and a healthy lifestyle.
